Jane B. Lumb

Jane B. Lumb, 90, of Fleming, passed away on September 28, 2017 at the Matthew House. She was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Elizabeth Peterson Bachman. Jane was a social worker for the Girl Scouts, and a professor at Oswego State University teaching sociology. In her free time she would volunteer at many different organizations giving to the causes she believed in.

She is survived by:

Nephews:           George Cretekos and his wife Jolene of Farmington, NY

                                Gregory Cretekos and his wife Lydia of Alberta, Canada

Nieces:                 Cynthia Young and her husband Doug of Malta, NY

                                Stacey Cretekos of Congers, NY

                                Karen Cretekos and Mark Buchalter of Seattle, WA

Grandchildren:  Daniel, Kristen, Jessica, and Rebecca Lumb

In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband Frank J. Lumb.

A memorial service will held at 3PM on Saturday November 11, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William Street, Auburn with Reverend Patrick Heery.
