John R. Williams

John R. Williams, 71, of Auburn passed away on October 12, 2016 at home with his wife by his side. He was the son of the late William Penny and Margaret Williams. He worked for Crucible Steel in Syracuse for many years. He enjoyed dabbling in many different painting styles of oil, water, and charcoal. He loved to read and listen to music for many hours in the day. He also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles in the newspapers and books alike.

He was survived by his wife Wanda Williams of 29years

Two sisters:             Alberta Payne of New York City

                                Diane Hairston of New York City

Four Grandchildren and two Step grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 4PM to 6PM on Monday October 17, 2016 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn NY with a funeral service at 6PM.
