Richard “Richie” Bond Jr.

Richard Bond, 65, of Auburn NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024. Richie was born on December 7, 1958, in Lyons, NY. He was the son of Richard and Eunice (Laribee) Bond. Richie’s passion was fishing, riding his bike and spending time with family and friends. His biggest joy was teaching his nieces and nephews how to ride their bikes and fish.



He is survived by his companion of many years, Shirley Martin; his daughters: Stacy (Richard) Evener, Samantha, Angel, Nicole, and Beverly Bond; sisters: Kathy Stevenson, Carmella Bond and Carole Laribee, Bernice (Brian) Muldrow, MaryAnn (Chris) Costello and Beaulia Bond; brother, Walter (Melanie) Bond; a sister-in-law Debra Bond; an uncle Clifford Bond; special nieces, and nephews; Lisa Rao, Shane Rao, Patty Rao, Kimberly (Matt) Bagarozzo, Jamie Rao, Brian Bond and Angela Rao.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, Richie is predeceased by his stepmother Beverly Haitz- Bond; brother Sheldon Bond; and nephews Joseph Costello and Jason McCray.



Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on Sunday, February 18th, 2 PM at The Vineyard Church 99 Wall Street Auburn NY 13021.
