Steven A. Hunter Obituary

Steven A. Hunter, beloved husband, step-father, and local business owner, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 10.

Steve was a devoted Scoutmaster and an active member of the Warren Salem Town Lodge #147 F. & A.M. His dedication to serving his community extended beyond his roles in the Scouts and the Masonic Lodge.

As a cherished church leader, Steve’s faith guided him in all aspects of his life. He found solace in the outdoors and cherished moments spent camping and traveling with his family including their years spent at Bass Lake Resort.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Diane, children Dennis, Dean, and Devon, and their families, including six wonderful grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Doris and William, his step-father Robert and his brother Mark. Steve is also survived by his cousin Jim (Sue) Comstock.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn.

Steve's legacy of service, kindness, and love will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory live on in our hearts forever.
