Carol E. Prete

Carol E. (Brown) Prete, of Geneva, NY, passed away at Rochester General Hospital on January 23, 2018. She was born in Utica, NY on March 15, 1946 the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Brown. She worked and retired from Geneva General Hospital as an LPN.

Carol and her husband, Frannie, were active in the Sons of Italy. They enjoyed traveling to Italy and spending time with family, friends, their black labs, and were avid gardeners.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, Francis “Frannie”; sisters, Joyce Wheat and Eleanor (Ben) Mack; brother, Douglas (Ann) Brown. Surviving are her brothers, Larry (Judy) Brown of Auburn, NY, Richard (Judy) Brown of Bowling Green, FL, Jim (Ellen) Brown of Skaneateles, NY, and Donald Brown of Savannah, NY. As well as several nieces and nephew and a special cousin, Leroy Brown of Florida.

Services will be held Friday, May 18th at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, E. North St., Geneva, NY. Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn is in charge of the arrangements.
