David A. Lawton

David A. Lawton, 64, of Auburn, NY passed away on Sunday August 19, 2018. David is the son of the late Mary and William G. Lawton of Scipio, NY. David is predeceased by his sister Pauline M. Reed of Manheim, PA and survived by his brother William D. Lawton of Macedon, NY, and sister Kathleen A. Purc (John) of Minden, ON, Canada. David is the cherished uncle of Lisa, Mary, Robert, Barbara, Susan, Lory, Rhonda, Christopher, Todd and their families. David leaves behind his long time friends and housemates, Owen, Tim and the many truly caring friends and staff of the Seneca-Cayuga ARC and associated organizations in David’s community. Much gratitude goes to Andrea of Cayuga Counseling Service for her passionate advocacy on David’s behalf. Visitation will be from 10AM to 12PM on Friday August 31, 2018 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street with a service to follow at 12PM. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming.
