Joan Fisher Bouck

Joan Fisher Bouck, formerly of Farley's Point in Union Springs and wife of the late John Bouck, passed away on February 4, 2018 in Vero Beach, Florida.  She was 84 years old.

She was the daughter of the late George Falkenburg and Antoinette Alduino.

Joan worked at Union Springs Central High School for over 25 years.  She was a life-long Parishioner of St. Michaels Church in Union Springs and member of their Alter Rosary Society and was a Lay Reader for a number of years.   She supported many CROP Hunger Walks in the village of Union Springs.  She also enjoyed her gardening and life on Cayuga Lake.

Joan loved her family very much and cherished her time spent with all her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her

                 Bruce Fisher and wife Donna

                 Susan Fisher Mason and husband Christopher

                 David Fisher and wife Marney

                 Stephen Fisher and wife Debbie

Step Children:   Linda Zach

                            Doris “Dodie” Bouck (deceased)

                            Dennis Zach - Son-in-Law

Sister:  Doris Moriarty and her children Kathleen and Michael

Joan was lucky enough to have the love of 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren along with 6 Step Grandchildren and 14 Step Great Grandchildren
Visitation from noon to 2PM Sunday, May 27, 2018, Shakelton Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn with a funeral service at 2PM. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery in Union Springs.
