Reverend Linda B. Zach, 75, of Union Springs, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John and Anita Garnsey Bouck. Linda was a registered nurse and minster and would fuse the two professions together to care for the sick and hurting in the physical and spiritual sense. Linda took much pride being an advisor, mentor, counselor as well as leading many prayer groups to teach lessons of the Bible. Linda was an avid reader with special interest in civil war history, counseling and religion. Linda was a Civil War buff and very much enjoyed participating in reenactments playing the roles of women in the nursing and the medicinal field. Linda also loved the shores of Cayuga Lake and being in the outdoors while spending time in her favorite hunting spots along the banks of the Great Gully Farm. When she could relax she enjoyed doing crafts such as cross stitch, knitting and crocheting. In later years Linda enjoyed being part of Facebook and instant messenger following several groups that included live wild life cams of bald eagle nests locally and around the world.
