Melinda A. Pellett

Melinda A. Pellett, was born on January 8, 1951 in Auburn, NY. She passed away Wednesday July 25, 2018 peacefully with family by her side after a long battle with diabetes and cancer. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister, and stay at home mom. Melinda loved working with beads, leather, anything Native American and her many cassette players. She will be remembered for all the love she gave to everyone and her free spirit.

Melinda is survived by her husband of 36 years David of Auburn, 2 daughters Brenda and Krystal both of Auburn, grandson Keegan of Auburn, 2 brothers, Brian (Hope) Anderson of Moravia, Terry Anderson and fiancée Deb of Auburn, and a wonderful extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousin, Nephews, Nieces and Friends.

She was predeceased by her infant daughter Holley Pellett, mother Julia Anderson, brother Doug Anderson, niece Deb Klein, uncles Steve and Don, aunt Katie and others before.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Melinda Pellett’s memory may be made to either or both American Diabetes Association, 356 N. Midler Avenue #4, Syracuse, NY 13206 or American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Clark Street, Auburn. Brew funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn is in charge of the arrangements.

Interment will be at Soule Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
