Nancy A. Smith Obituary

Nancy A. Smith, 75, of Auburn, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Lola Barnes Leonard. Nancy enjoyed cooking and baking her famous rice pudding and banana bread for family reunions but most of all she like working on crossword puzzles. Nancy was part of the companionship program at Mercy Apartments where she would enjoy checking on and spending time with some of the shut-ins.   

She is survived by:

Son:     Timothy A. Smith and Cristina Labbe of Port Byron

Dear Friend:    Oscar Parkman of Auburn

Great Friend:   Sandy Rice

Brothers:         Harold Leonard of Cortland

                        Richard Leonard of Freeville

Sisters:             Carolyn Aldrich and her husband Garry of McGraw

                        Beverly Sprouse of Cortland

Brother-in-law:            Salvatore Ferro of Cortland

Several Nieces and Nephews

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband Harold Smith, sister Elise Ferro and sister in law Linda Leonard.

Visitation will be from 10AM to 12PM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn with a service to follow at 12PM.

Burial will be at Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn
