Shirley Lounsbury Obituary

Shirley Guiendon Lounsbury, 93, passed away on June 14, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Binghamton NY on August 24, 1925 to the late Morris and Gladys Arend Guiendon and married Donald A. Lounsbury April 6, 1946. Shirley worked for Welch Allyn managing the production control line until her retirement. In her later years she enjoyed being active in many different senior activities and clubs.  

She was predeceased by her husband Donald A. Lounsbury Sr., Son Donald A. Lounsbury II, daughter Anne Marie Flaker and her two sisters Elizabeth (Walter) Hennessey and Dorothy Jean (Guy) Dougherty.

Shirley  is survived by son William Norrett Lounsbury, his wife Debbie and daughter-in-law Kathy Lounsbury; Grandchildren Chris, Jeff, Matt, Robert and Philip Flaker, Jason Lounsbury, Elizabeth Leahy; Great Grandchildren Sara, Ben, Nicklas, Olivia, Harper, Sadie, Chris, Kaleigh, Dustin, Caleb and Lacey; Many nieces and nephews; Special Friends Carol Watkins, Debbie Canale Riester and Tara Lounsbury

There will be a memorial service at 11AM on Wednesday June 26, 2019 at St. Peter & John Episcopal Church, 169 Genesee Street, Auburn.  Brew Funeral Home, Auburn is in charge of the arrangements.
