Viola Mae O'Leary

Viola Mae O’Leary, 74, of Auburn, passed away on May 9, 2018 at Upstate University Hospital. Viola was a very kind hearted woman who made many friends on her travels from coast to coast. She was a CNA in both NV and NY. She was a devoted member of the Mormon church and she lived her life to the fullest. Viola was preceded in death by her first husband Harry Sherman and her second husband John OLeary. Her parents Laurence Pealo and Edith Kellogg Pealo Perrine as well as her step father Robert Perrine. 3 children a daughter baby girl Sherman in 1963, son Laverne Sherman in 1966, and William Neupert. Her brother Andrew Perrine and sisters Beverly Perrine meaker and Yvonne Perrine as well as 2 nephews Zane and Joshua graham. Viola is survived by a very large family including her husband Marshal Trapp 2 daughters Annette Trapp (James) and Robin Van Allen (Gary) both of Auburn, siblings Willard Pealo of Port Byron, Robert Pealo of Marietta Donna Perrine, Ronald Perrine, Fredrick Perrine, Carol Green (Kevin) all of Port Byron Edwin Perrine (Rebecca) and Barbara Perrine (Billie Clark) of Auburn. 4 Granddaughters Mary Keith, Joanne Merritt, Crystal Woolfolk and Jennifer Lennox all of Auburn as we all 15 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and many “adopted” family members. Visitation will be from 5PM to 7PM on Friday May 18, 2018 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. A funeral service will be at 12:30PM on Saturday May 19, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3166 Miller Road, Auburn, NY.
