Barbara Jean Laboon

Barbara Jean Laboon,89, of Auburn, NY, passed away on May 12, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY. She was born on December 3,1934 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Helen Nagowski Vaccaro. She is survived by 2 children, Daniel J(Martha) Laboon and Cheryl A (Robert) Gillett, four grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Eric (Sarah) Gillett, Justin (Tonya) Laboon and Amanda Laboon. 10 great grandchildren, Kaylee Laboon, Alyssa George, Jacob George, Nathan George, Lillian Gillett, Logan Gillett, Dani Piersanti, Skylar Smith, Ashton Smith, and Collin Smith. In addition to her parents Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Daniel E. Laboon and daughter Danielle Smith, at Barbara’s request, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, Barbara was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who was always there when we needed her, we will hold her tightly in our hearts; the family requests those who wish to express sympathy can consider donating to her favorite charities, cancer and spinal injury.
