Carolyn Rae Bilinski, 83, of Auburn passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Finger Lakes Center for Living. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Irene (Belknap) Lockwood. She was a sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and always would put the needs of others before her own. She had been the Clerk in the Town of Throop for many years, returning to work as a licensed practical nurse after her husband passed away. She enjoyed reading, watching TV game shows and crime drama, and telling stories of her early life on the farm. Everyone who met her was touched by her kindness, warmth, generosity, humor, and compassion. Her light and love guided so many in life and she will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by:
Children: Cindi Smith, Christine Marciniak, Catherine Davis, Stephen Bilinski and Andrew Bilinski
Brother: Ray Lockwood
Sister: Anna Mae VanDyke and Marilyn Brauning
Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren including two dear granddaughters, Morgan Duhamel and Meredith Ferro, who helped with her health care later in life.
In addition to her parents Carolyn was predeceased by her husband Casmir Stephen Bilinski.
