Delores Sergi

Dolores Sergi, age 77, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, conversation, and devotion to family.

Dolores spent most of her adult life in Auburn, New York, where she became well known for her warm personality and friendly nature. She worked for many years at BJ’s Wholesale Club, where she especially enjoyed giving out samples and talking with people — a role perfectly suited to her love of conversation and connection.

She was born on April 14, and was preceded in death by loved ones dear to her heart. She is survived by her two children, Michelle Wright and Lisa Baldwin, whom she loved deeply. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Jacob, Matthew, Zachary, Sarah, Caleb, Madison, Natalie, Bryan, and Leon.

Dolores is also survived by her siblings, Marge Loiselle and Tony Ragusa. She was previously married to Joseph Sergi.

A woman of faith, Dolores was a Christian who cherished family gatherings and holidays, finding joy in being surrounded by those she loved. She had a particular fondness for card games, puzzles, and lively conversation. In the final years of her life, she found great happiness playing games and doing puzzles with her four-year-old granddaughter Sarah, moments that brought her comfort and joy.

For the last three years of her life, Dolores lived with the Wright family, where she was cared for, loved, and surrounded by family. She will be deeply missed, especially by those who shared daily life with her and loved her fiercely.

Her memory will live on in the laughter she sparked, the conversations she cherished, and the family bonds she held close.

There will be visitation from 4PM to 6PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn.
