Jean E. Carpenter

Jean E. Carpenter, 70, of Auburn, passed away on, Monday, May 31, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Julia Moroney Smith. Jean worked for McQuay International for 10 years on the assembly line. She enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo, and sitting out in her back yard and watch the wild life.

She is survived by,

Husband:            Walter Carpenter of Auburn

Daughter:           Denise LaMay

Grandchildren: Shanise Thomas and  Shawntel Thomas

Great Grandchildren:     Emery, Keyari Elliott

Sisters:  Barbara Cinotti and Cherie Phillips and her husband Glenn

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by several brothers and a sister. 

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. A final farewell will be at 10AM on Saturday June 5 at the funeral home with a graveside service to follow at 11am at Pine Hill Cemetery.
