John Francis "Jackie" Breeze Sr.

John Francis “Jackie” Breeze Sr. 75, of Sennett, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Auburn Community Hospital. He was born on August 31, 1948 to the late Francis and Anna Conti Breeze. Jackie was a life member of the Sennett Fire Department holding different positions in his time as lieutenant, Assistant Chief and Vice President.  He worked at the Nucor Steel Plant as a furnace builder for over 30 years. Jackie was a very caring person always willing to stop what he was in the middle of in order help anyone in need. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he always looked forward to each and every visit.

He is survived by,

Wife:     Sharon Breeze

Children:             Rebecca Staring, John Breeze Jr., Carl Breeze, Stacey Warter, Richard Breeze, David Marks and Timothy Marks.

Brothers:             Robert and Joseph Breeze

Sisters:                Jean Jedik and Sara Clark

Nephew:             Matthew Cowell

Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

In addition to his parents, Jackie was predeceased by his sister Joan Breeze.

There will be visitation from 4PM to 7PM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. A funeral service will be at 1PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Port Byron.
