Kathleen House

Kathleen House, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024 with family by her side. She was born on March 30, 1946, Kathy dedicated much of her life to her family and community. She was a beloved wife to James R. House and a mother and stepmother to Gary Pashley, Harold Pashley, Elizabeth Lasagna, Christopher Roth, Joanne Sanford, Charles House, and James A. House. Kathy was also a grandmother to several grandchildren and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was involved in her community, volunteering her time and energy to the Community Action Program and the Volunteers Of America in Auburn. Her commitment to service was a testament to her caring nature and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Kathy will be deeply missed by her best friend and husband of 30 years, James R House.

She was preceded by her father, Norris Wright; mother, Margaret Wright; brother Kenneth Wright; and son, Jay Wright.

A memorial service will be held to honor Kathy's life on Saturday, August 31,2024, at the Auburn Alliance Church in Auburn, NY, at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Community Action Program at 89 York St.  Auburn, NY 13021, a cause close to Kathy's heart and reflective of her life's work.
