Kenneth N. Wood

Kenneth N. Wood, of Wantagh, 74, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2019 at Nassau University Medical Center. Ken loved his family and would travel anywhere to see them. He enjoyed family time playing card and board games. He also loved dressing up for Halloween and being a part of fund raisers for veterans in the American Legion. Later in life, religion was a big part of him going to mass, prayer groups, and listening to his wife teach religion to children.  Ken served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970 and was World Trade Center survivor.

He is survived by:

Grandchildren -  Anja, Marley, Olivia, Gavin, Kelsey, Ava, Devin, Lily, Ian, Emily, 

                           Michael, Maeve

Graveside service will be at 11:30AM on Saturday June 1, 2019 at Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga with military honors. Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn is in charge of the arrangements.
