Mary Granciz-Gomell

Mary Granciz-Gomoll left this eternal world on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She grew up in Auburn, New York and went to college at Heidelberg University in Ohio. She travelled the world extensively and taught English in Asia to aspiring business professionals. Later, she moved back to her hometown that she adored and gained her Masters in Library Science from Syracuse University. She was a University Librarian at Syracuse University and spent her summers on the lake. Her friend Carolyn was an amazing support during her battle with dementia. She will join her parents, Oscar and Ruth Gomoll at the Soule Cemetery later this year. She is survived by her niece, Kimberly Gomoll in California.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Buck Institute for Research on Aging which seeks to find a cure for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease is requested.
