Nancy Trice Weaver Obituary

Nancy Trice Weaver, of 45 Center St. Union Springs, New York met with her Savior and Lord on September 18, 2025 at the age of 85. Nancy Jean, the eldest child of the late Theodore and Bertha (Miller) Trice was born in Auburn, NY and grew up in Sennett, NY, graduating from Weedsport Central School. Upon graduating, she went on to business school and then began her life long career. She was a dedicated professional for many decades, with a majority of this time working at General Products and TRW, eventually retiring from Mack Studios. For those who had the pleasure of becoming her colleague, she treasured their friendships throughout her life. In the office, she was known for her loyalty, professionalism including her beautiful attire, her sense of humor and quick wit of banter and comradery amongst her co-workers.

Nancy met the love of her life, “Donnie” through mutual friends and their everlasting love began. They were each other’s forever. They committed to marriage on August 25, 1962. Their 47 years journeying together, was a true testament of their deep love for each other. Raising their three sons was by far their greatest pride and joy. Nancy’s heart was broken October 1, 2009, when her beloved “Donnie” went to be with the Lord. Known for her strong will of independence, Nancy remained in “the house of Weaver” until her passing.

A devoted woman of faith, Nancy was passionately involved with her faith, family and friends at The Trinity Church of Christ in Union Springs. She chaired several committees within the church, including Sunday School Teacher and was also an organist for many Sunday services. While in the comfort of her home, she would continue her devotions, through reading and listening to scriptures and completing her daily devotions. As a gifted organist, her family had the pleasure of her playing the organ during our countless family gatherings, fondly remembering the Christmas carols she would play for our enjoyment.

Her legacy will be cherished by her family. Leaving behind three sons: Neil Thomas Weaver; Jeffery Lee Weaver, his wife Annette; Gregory Lee Weaver, his wife Grace. Beloved Grandchildren, Danielle (Chad) Parker, Sydney (Jason) Levy, Michael (Sydney) Weaver, Lee (Hanah) Weaver and Nicholas Weaver. Her grandchildren blessed her with three Great-Grandchildren, Jack Gregory, Reed Michael and Paisley Grace. Also surviving are her treasured sisters, Carol Rocha and Constance (Pete) Miller, sister in law Bernice Weaver Kostreva and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was predeceased in life by her beloved husband, Donald B. Weaver, Jr., her parents, a brother Lee, sisters Molly and Susan.

Pastor Gregory will perform a committal service to Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Union Springs on October 4, 2025 at 12:00 noon for family and friends to join us celebrating Nancy’s Life.
