Orlee Fryer

Orlee Fryer, 91, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Auburn Community Hospital. She was the daughter of late Andrew and Orea Liberty Fryer. Orlee loved going to church with her sister Earmell. She enjoyed family gatherings, watching her favorite soap operas and TV shows, NCIS and Chicago PD. 

She is survived by:

7 Nephews:  Willie (Linda) Humphrey of Pittsford, NY; Oscar (Donna), Leon (Cindy), David (Beth), Michael (Amy), all of Auburn, NY; Hubert Hanks of Liverpool, NY; and Nathaniel Jackson of FL.

11 Nieces: Mavis (William) Spence of Blythewood, SC; Verna (Rev. Robert) Wilson of Auburn, NY; Patricia Humphrey of Auburn, NY; Agnes Humphrey of Syracuse, NY; Marion Humphrey of Auburn, NY; Arcola Barr of Auburn, NY; Marlene McKinley of Rochester, NY; Mamie Hornsby of Liverpool, NY; Gloria Jean Fryer of FL; Venice Humphrey of Auburn, NY; and Rosa Brown of Albany, GA.

Sister-in law: Rethel McKinnie, of NJ                     

Host of Great Nieces, Great Nephews and Cousins.

In addition to her parents, Orlee was predeceased by sisters; Earmell Humphrey, Willie V. Brown, Sylvia Jackson, Alvester Hanks, brothers; Willie, Zimmer and Earl Lee Fryer, nephews; Andrew and John Humphrey, Great Niece; Andilene Humphrey and Great Nephew; Christopher Humphrey.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11AM to 12PM on Friday July 24, 2020 at Roosevelt Memorial Baptist Church, 101 Fitch Avenue, Auburn, NY. Due to CDC guidelines, the 12pm home going service will be limited to the immediate family only. Anyone attending the viewing or service must wear a mask and observe social distancing. Other recommended guidelines will be enforced as well. Burial will be at Fort Hill Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Pastor Robert E. Wilson. Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn is in charge of the arrangements.
