Richard P. Johnston

Richard P. Johnston, 84 of Union Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Commons in Auburn, NY. He was born in Auburn, NY on June 13, 1940 to the late George and Evelyn Johnston. Richard retired from the U.S Coast Guard after serving for 20 years on the east and west coast of the United States including Hawaii.   He settled down in Memphis, TN to continue raising his family (with Eileen Johnston (Rogers) /separated).  Mr. Johnston was a respected businessman in the car dealership business.  He retired to Union Springs, NY.

He is survived by,

                         Christy Johnston

Brother:            Douglas Johnston

Sister:  Judith Little

2 Grandchildren:    Marcus and Amber Smith

5 Great Grandchildren

Thank-you for your wonderful care to Richard’s companion, Mary DeNardo. 

He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.   There will be no services at the request of Richard.
