Sharon A. Breeze

Sharon A. Breeze, 74 of Auburn, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Commons. She was born on June 29, 1951 in Auburn, NY to the late William and Dorothy Newkirk Salvage. Sharon was a graduate from Union Springs in 1969 and later went on to further her education as a Licensed Practical Nurse at BOCES and then a registered nursing at the Cayuga Community College. Sharon was a hard working woman always caring for others above herself. Sharon enjoyed being an LPN and then RN for over 40 years from working at Mercy Rehabilitation before moving on to Auburn Memorial Hospital working in the coronary care unit. Sharon and her late husband Robert loved going out on different date nights at the Hollywood, Springside Inn, Lums and the Finger Lakes mall on a Friday night. After Robert had passed away she met a second love of her life “Jackie” they enjoyed to travel to Lancaster PA, Poconos  and North Carolina. Jackie and Sharon in their spare time then would travel to the countryside and enjoyed watching nature.

She is survived by,

Children:     Rebecca Staring, Stacey Warter, David Marks and Timothy Marks

Sister:          Susan Rowe

Grandchildren:      Ashley, Mathew, Chelsea, Britany, Sophia, Garrett, Austin, Schuyler, Halie, Peyton, Kendra, Joslyn and Great Grandchildren

In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her first husband Robert Marks, second John “Jackie” Breeze Sr., 2 sisters Patty and Linda.

There will be visitation from 2PM to 5PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. There will be a funeral service at 11AM on Monday, September 22,2025 at the funeral home with a committal service to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
