Wanda Jean Hill

Wanda Jean Hill, 67, of Syracuse, and formerly longtime resident in Malone village of Auburn, passed away on December 1, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Mettis and Lillie-Belle Mobley Jacobs. Wanda was a kind, wonderful and compassionate mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and caring for others.  Wanda will be best remembered for her humor, being outspoken and sitting on her front porch sharing current events.

She is survived by,

Children:             Darrell Hill and his wife Jennifer

                             Shaloe Rockett and her husband William

                             Tameka Whitmore and Christian Montgomery

Brother:              Mettis Jacobs and his wife Diana

Sisters:                Mary Jacobs

                             Cora Johnson and her husband James

9 Grandchildren:              D’Andre, Heaven, Wynter, Amin, Kyra, Richarah, Jenae, David and Kennedi

5 Great Grandchildren

Host of Nieces, Nephews and other loved ones

In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her sister Joyce Jacobs and Patty Johnson.

Visitation will be from 5PM to 7PM on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn. A funeral service will be at 11AM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fort Hill Cemetery.
